Hiho! Today, I’ll guide you on how to change fonts and adjust the UI size in Divinity: Original Sin (and also in Enhanced Edition). Whether you’re on Windows or Linux, these simple steps will help you customize your gaming experience.
Changing Fonts:
You can download the necessary font files via this link.
- Extract the contents of the .zip file into the following directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition\Data
- Ensure your font files are placed in this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition\Data\Public\Game\GUI\fonts
Increasing UI Size:
- Create a game profile by launching the game and saving a profile. This will generate a configuration file.
- Edit the configuration file located at:
C:\Users\<WINDOWS_USER_NAME>\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition\PlayerProfiles\<PROFILE_NAME>
- Set your desired scale factor. Any value up to 2.0 is safe (e.g., 1.5). At bigger screens maybe even more 🙂
For Linux users, the configuration file can be found here:
/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/435150/pfx/drive_c/users/<username>/documents
Additional Notes for Linux Players:
- Make some changes in the game to generate a configuration file.
- Navigate to:
/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/435150/pfx/drive_c/users/<username>/documents
- Open the
config.lsx
file (e.g., with KWrite) and adjust the UI size to your preferred scale.
And that’s it! Now you can enjoy a more personalized and comfortable gaming experience. Happy gaming!
